The role:

The purpose of this role is to provide internal support. Working closely with members of the sales and operations teams by managing client communications and expectations. Interacting with potential new and existing customers and managing your own accounts

Competencies / experience needed:

Flexible, self-motivated and punctual

Excellent communicator and team player

Able to act on own initiative / forward thinking / problem solving

Adaptable and able to multi task and show a willingness to learn new skills

Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines

Ability to prioritise work

Skills required:

High level of computer skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Excellent written and spoken English, (Maths and English GCSE)

Main duties:

Acts as primary support to the departmental Account Manager

Takes ownership of own client accounts and delivers strong customer satisfaction levels

Proactive in making calls to clients to check customer and contact details and help manage email enquiries

Collaborates with field-based members of the sales team to ensure efficient service for clients

Handle and record incoming sales enquiries, qualifying and dealing with as required

Prepare quotes for clients

Liaise with production and sales departments to assist an accurate and timely production schedule maintaining client expectations

Administration & filing of electronic order instructions

Document generation and distribution to clients via email / mail

Responsible for handling customer concerns and feedback through to completion along with any process improvements

Answering incoming calls and pro-actively contacting customers whilst ensuring a high level of customer service

Attend customer meetings, exhibitions/shows and events on occasions
