We are looking for an experienced Order Processor to start on the 1st July as maternity cover for a manufacturing firm in Colchester, Essex.
The working hours are 08:00-16:30, Monday-Thursday with a midday finish available on Fridays!
Starting salary up to GBP12ph, subject to experience.
We need someone with previous experience in order processing & producing tenders based on customer orders that are passed across via the sales team.
Order Processor duties include: -
Ensure all customer enquiries are professionally handled and in a timely manner
Review technical requirements within customers enquiry
Liaise with suppliers and retain records, lead times, technical details, and costing
Prepare technical submittals
Co-ordinate system calculation with customers, suppliers and engineering, verification, and submission to Customers in support of the Enquiry
Maintain accurate costing method for all quotations issued
Achieve quotation return dates requested by the customer & continue to inform customers of delays or extensions required to complete the quotation
Progress quotations issued to customers on a regularly, working with the Sales Team and local Agents for converting orders placed on the company
Transfer all information and knowledge on project-to-Project Management Team at point of Order placement.
As this is maternity cover, we do need someone who can start with minimal training. Due to this, you will need previous experience relevant to the above duties.
You will also require strong computer skills to be considered, this includes being conversant in Excel, word, in house CRM systems.
