Telesales- Telemarketing (no cold calling)

P/T and F/T roles available.

To 28k (pro rate if p/t) + bonuses + bens, OTE exceeding 30k.

Our valued client is a world-renowned Manufacturing client based in Surrey.
They require a talented Telesales-Telemarketer responsible for sales in the UK and Ireland, to work at their manufacturing base in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving their customer acquisition and growth objectives.
The Telesales- Telemarketing role involves all aspects of Customer Relationship Marketing and database maintenance using their existing installed customer base (full training given). Telemarketing campaigns on external targeted databases to generate technical and potential sales interest. Pre-qualification of centrally generated sales enquiries (from advertising, mailshots, e-shots etc.) including arranging demonstration appointments for their technical sales force (appointment setting)
Based in our modern Global HQ Surrey, candidates must live within a manageable daily commute.

Responsibilities for the Telesales role;

The main areas of responsibility are:

Identify and generate new sales opportunities through outbound calling to our qualified database of sales contacts. This will include generating requests for product demonstrations for UK field sales colleagues
Pre-qualification and development of sales enquiries (from exhibitions, emails, website), including arranging demonstrations/appointments for our UK & Ireland field sales team
Develop sales opportunities from inbound calls and enquiries
Achieve targets set on a consistent basis
Clearly and effectively communicate the advantages and benefits of our products
List-building by researching accounts to identify decision-makers and generate future interest
Direct qualified opportunities/leads to our UK based sales team
Maintain accurate and current information in the CRM database
Assisting UK Sales with preparation of quotations and additional administration duties as required
Required Knowledge, Essential Skills and Experience for the Telesales role;

Minimum of 18 months experience with high volume outbound Telesales environment- ideally, but not exclusively within a technical environment.
Excellent spoken communication skills
Intermediate IT skills (CRM/database, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly organised and self-motivated, with a positive attitude
Team player able to work with colleagues as part of a successful team
