Location: City of London

Job Type: Permanent

Proposed start date: ASAP

Base: Office. Hybrid once training and probation period completed.

Pay Rates: GBP25,000 per annum depending on skill and experience

Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (10.00am to 2pm is the clients core hours, therefore these need to be covered and start and finish times can vary in line with these hours)

The Probation period will be 6 months in which will be office based, once Probation has been passed, then the successful candidate will be allowed to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The breakdown of which days need to be agreed with your manager.

Job Summary

We're currently looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join the talent acquisition team, primarily looking after our trainee recruitment and early careers attraction campaigns.

The role of Recruitment Coordinator will provide an enthusiastic, committed person with the opportunity of getting involved in a variety of areas of talent acquisition, with scope to develop and progress.

Duties

* Building strong internal relationships with managers with regular, accurate communication

* Create compelling job profiles and job adverts that reflect the role and our proposition

* Daily accurate use and updating of our applicant tracking system (ATS) to review agency candidate submissions, filtering out and offering feedback for candidates that don't meet the agreed criteria, submitting candidates to hiring managers or seeking additional information on the candidate where required

* Arrange interviews for relevant candidates, offer feedback for those candidates not selected for interview

* Follow up with managers within 24 hours of interview to seek out interview feedback

* Support trainee recruitment, from requirements gathering, through to onboarding

* Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience for both trainee and experienced hires

* Coordinate and lead assessment centres for trainee recruitment

* Support with trainee offsite student induction

* Take part in careers related events

* All general recruitment administration and coordination duties as required by management and the departments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

* 6 - 12 months recruitment experience preferred (agency or internal)

* Some experience within accountancy or finance recruitment is desirable, but not essential

* Proven creative writing skills would be desirable

* An interest in and flair for social media and content generation is desirable

* Takes responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work

* Communication - oral and written; ability to deal with variety of people in different environments and at all levels and on a consistent basis

* Organisational skills - ability to juggle a number of different tasks at once, effective prioritising

* Diplomacy and patience

* Prepared to help other members of the team with their workload when needed

* Able to think around problems that arise

* Calm and effective under pressure

* Able to understand what our proposition is and articulate this to people outside the Firm
