Hydraulic Technician (Test & Repair) | Rosyth | GBPGBPNegotiable DOE

My client are a leading independent Hose & Hydraulics Company, based in Rosyth, Scotland.

Due to large contract wins we are recruiting experienced Hydraulic experts to join their expanding operations.
Responsibilities:

Taking responsibility for the workshop phase of the build, assembly and testing of new equipment, ensuring that company policies are followed and deadlines achieved.
Refurbishing and maintaining hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
Fault finding and diagnosis of hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
Support the ongoing operations of the company by ensuring all tasks are completed in the agreed timeframe and to client requirements.
Required to work overtime, sometimes at short notice due to client needs.
Embracing our QHSE objectives and play an active part in maintaining and improving workshop procedures, processes and safety.
Ensuring workshop job packs are completed accurately and to a high standard.
The ability to use own initiative, and to be able to work individually or as part of a team.
Essential:

Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic with a genuine passion for the job.
several years of experience within a hydraulic technician role.
Extensive experience of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Highly competent in:
Hose manufacturing and pipefitting.
Assembling/fitting hydraulic and mechanical systems
Hydraulic and mechanical fault finding and diagnosis
Good computer skills - Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage own workload effectively to meet deadlines as is necessary.
Communicates effectively with internal and external contacts in a professional manner.
Works effectively within a team or other work group as appropriate.
Preferred:

Qualification in an engineering discipline.
Basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to read electrical schematics.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Experience of pressure testing and flushing.
The ability to compile accurate and coherent service reports.Package:

Full training to industry standards, as required.
28 days annual holiday.
Starting basic salary of GBP30,000.00 - GBP40,000.00, based on skills and experience.
