Here at Smart Solutions, we have an Excellent opportunity to work within South West Water as an IT Infrastructure Analyst.
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience working in an IT technical role
* Extensive experience and technical knowledge of: Red Hat Linux, ideally including Satellite Management and Ansible Automation
* Windows Server and Microsoft toolsets (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Certificate Services and Group Policy)
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* The ability to work well independently and as a team
Job Responsibilities:
* Providing 3rd line IT and OT server support
* Prioritising and managing workload effectively, managing multiple open Incidents and Service Requests
* Ensuring the resolution of Incidents and the fulfilment of Service Requests are in accordance with agreed SLAs
* Ensuring documentation is maintained accurately
* Design, build and configuration of new on-premise and cloud based IT server and storage infrastructure
* Identifying opportunities to continually improve service reliability, efficiency and performance
* Participating in an on-call 24x7 out-of-hours support rota for our critical systems
* Corporate systems that drive key business operations - such as mobile work dispatch and feedback for Operations, Customer Billing, Finance & Procurement
* Operational systems that monitor and control our Drinking Water and Waste Water services.
* Office systems that allow our employees to collaborate and communication such as Microsoft 365
* IT Infrastructure including cloud and physical data centres, servers, data storage, data and telephony networks, PCs, tablets and mobile phones
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
* On call 1 in 6 weeks
Salary:
* GBP34,000 - GBP43,000 per annum DOE
