We are seeking Residential Childcare Workers and/or Senior Residential Childcare Workers, for a wonderful Children's Home in Gloucester.
About the job:
The home, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, provides excellent care and support for up to three children aged 8 - 17 ???with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, attachment difficulties, and complex trauma.
You will be working for a small company with a strong child-centred ethos, who believe strongly in replicating a family environment in which children are empowered to thrive. You will be supported by your Seniors, Deputies and Registered Manager to develop in your role and fulfil your own potential, whilst helping young people to fulfil theirs.
As Residential Childcare Worker, your role will be to ??????provide the highest standard of support to children in care; supporting them in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes in line with their placement plans/ individual goals and health plans.???
This will include responsibilities such as:
* Day to day support in the home environment and with daily living routines
* Arranging and participating in activities such as swimming, horse riding, walks etc.
* Providing a role-model figure in young people's lives
* Maintaining professional, empathic and informative relationships with families, carer's, advocates, professionals and other parts of the company
* Individual key-working responsibilities
* Administration such as support planning, risk assessing, team meetings, medication paperwork, and progress reports
?????????Salary & Benefits:
Salary for this role starts at GBP21,320 for entry level RCWs, up to GBP26,395 for experienced Seniors. You will also have the opportunity to earn up to GBP5000 in sleep-in enhancements, based on 5 sleep-ins per month. Other plus benefits include:

Requirements:
To apply for this role you will need:
* Prior experience working with children and/or young people
* To be flexible to work across various shift patterns according to the service's needs.
* To be willing to complete Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce as well as further training and development
* To be empathetic, resilient, non-judgmental and a role model for young people with traumatic backgrounds
* A full UK driving license
