We are recruiting Marquee Builders on behalf of our customer who is one of the leading specialists in temporary building structures across the U.K. and Europe.
As a Marquee builder you will need to have excellent technical skills, work well as part of a team and be able to thrive in a physically demanding role. A typical day will be working with a team of six to assemble a large temporary structure. No day is ever the same as you will be travelling all over the UK and Europe to all different kinds of events, including festivals, exhibitions and sporting events.

The normal working week is Monday to Friday and can include full weeks away or nights out depending on the location and job requirements. There will be a requirement for early starts and late finishes to meet customer deadlines. You will be required to work some weekends during busier times.
Requirements and qualifications
CSCS card, Rough Terrain/Telehandler, Forklift, IPAF MEWP (3A & 3B) Ticket - beneficial but not essential
You must be physically fit & thrive working outdoors and in all weathers
Valid passport and all necessary vaccinations to travel freely across Europe - Essential
Full driving licence - Essential

Excellent time keeping skills
Presentable as you will be customer facing
Good in customer facing environment
Ability to adapt to challenges as they arise
Flexible with working hours
Ability to follow instruction

Salary; GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 per annum for a basic 40-hour week. potential earnings GBP30,000 per annum
Overtime Rates;
Over 40 hours (Weekdays) paid at time and a quarter
Saturday paid at time and a half
Sunday paid at double time
Night Away Allowance GBP12.00 per night + accommodations
