We're a friendly, welcoming team and we're looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Restart Team. If you have the experience within face-to-face communication and are engaging with people, then this is the role for you.

We're looking for an organised Business Support Officer with exceptional communication skills and that can handle office duties and admin-related operations. In this role, you will perform office tasks, respond to communications, and oversee all administrative tasks for the team. You'll be committed to providing attentive support for internal and external parties via face to face or telephone. We're looking for someone that has knowledge of computer programs functions such as word processors, spreadsheets which are used in daily office administration role.

Our ideal candidate will need to be a people person, with the ability to communicate with our participants. You'll need to be able to engage with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, as well as courteous, proactive, and well-organised professional who has proven experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Receptionist, or other relevant positions. We're not looking for someone who ticks every box, just so long as you have an engaging personality and is well organised then this is the role for you.

The role will be supporting individuals who have been in long- term unemployment or those affected because of the devastating economic impact of Covid-19.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all visitors comply with Seetec Pluss signing in and out procedures.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion

* Good level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems

* Recording and passing on messages, open post, and support with the administering of petty cash and postage claims and maintain appropriate records of the final transactions.

* Undertake a range of IT related tasks, including word processing, data input and setting up of spreadsheets and other IT systems.

* Booking of meeting rooms for staff members and dealing with refreshments as requested.

* Is prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role, including any necessary travel and overnight stays.

* To handle personal data in accordance with the organisation's data protection policy.

* Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material

Skils and Experience

Essential

* Previous experience in an administrative role

* Experience of liaising with a range in internal and external stakeholders

* Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers concerning referral and employment enquiries or other administrative issues

* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above

* Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes to include 365 products and modern digital technologies, i.e. Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business

* Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards

* Knowledge of the employability industry

* Experience of working with people in 'advice & guidance' environments

* Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (region), when required
