As a People Partner at Metro Bank, you will work closely with teams across our Corporate Functions to ensure they have the right people, at the right cost and with the right capabilities. You will do this by developing and implementing people plans that enable your business areas to achieve their objectives and support the delivery of the wider people plan. You will be the face of the People team for your business areas, supporting key people processes, providing positive people solutions to organisational challenges, providing expert guidance and coaching on colleague related matters and role modelling our amazing culture to ensure we are creating fans.
Depending on the team, most of our roles offer flexible working.
So what would you be doing?...
•Developing close, trusted relationships with your senior leaders and influencing change
•Designing, developing and implementing functional people plans that are aligned to business need and the wider people team priorities
•Providing expert advice across a range of topics including colleague relations, reward, organisational design, colleague engagement, performance management, talent and succession,
•Working on projects with Centres of Excellence to deliver the wider people plan including a focus on diversity and inclusion
•Using people related MI to draw insight and identify actions that improve the colleague experience

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
•You would have a background in development partnering relationship with leaders and delivering change - experience in working with corporate functions would be preferred
•The ideal candidate will know how to develop and shape functional people plans and deliver the bank wide people plan within your business areas
•You have broad knowledge of a range of people practice including: colleague relations, reward (pay & benchmarking), Engagement, Performance Management, Talent & Succession, organisational design, diversity & inclusion
•You will know how to influence and coach senior leaders and executives within the business, knowing when to challenge
•You will know how to challenge complexity and deal with ambiguity
