Gi Group are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers in Nottingham for one of the UKs best know parcel companies. As a 7.5 Tonne Parcel Delivery driver you will be joining one of the UKs most respected and iconic businesses and be a brand ambassador delivering and collecting parcels from homes and businesses. With ongoing, regular and reliable work this is a great opportunity to join a great team. Typically working week is from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday including overtime when available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* You will be collecting and delivering parcels
* Adhering to stand work processes at all times.
* Following standards ops and workplace manuals
* You will be following schedules and itineraries so the ability to follow detailed instructions is a key skill.
* You will be working independently to collect bulk mail from major customers and Post Offices. While most of your day will be spent driving, part of your role will also include loading and unloading your van.
Requirements:
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible, friendly and happy to work hard on their own initiative.
* We're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly.
* Candidate must have a minimum 2 years' experience of driving a 7.5t vehicle
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence.
* You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 30kg)
* You must hold a valid C1/7.5t driving licence, a digital tachocard and a valid CPC qualification card
