HSB Technical's Power & Propulsion team have a number of vacancies for multiple businesses covering the UK and overseas.
My client is a well-known business within the power & propulsion sector, they are actively looking for a Electrical Engineer to work in a Application Support Engineer position joining a team with in a busy workshop. A strong part of the position is panel building, you will also act in a support function to customers with occasional visits to vessel's trouble shooting.
HSB Technical's client is a well-established and well-regarded entity within the Power & Propulsion Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
This person will: Build system panels and assemble
Factory Acceptance Test
Supporting installation teams on active jobs
Diagnose and troubleshoot product issues
Provide customer support in line with the company Service Level Agreements
Knowledge of Instrumentation communication, RS232, RS485, Modbus and Canbus Ethernet
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components
Basic network communications and diagnostics, IP based systems
Qualifications/Experience:
B Eng Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent
UK Passport Holder as some international travel will be required
