Logistic Operative - Thornbury - Temporary - GBP10.55 per hour.
Acorn Recruitment is advertising this vacancy on behalf of our well established client who are based in Thornbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading, global manufacturer who offer an excellent working environment, subsidised canteen and free parking.
This is full time temporary position which you'll be Working rotating shifts of days and afternoons 37.5 hours per week, hours are Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am - 1pm and Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 10pm and Friday, 1pm-8pm. This is an ongoing temporary to permanent assignment.
Pay rate GBP10.55 per hour
It may involve the occasional Saturday which would be paid at GBP13.19 per hour.
Your own transport is essential as there are no buses at the shift times
The role requires you to work in all aspects of the logistics process, previous experience is desirable but full training is provided. You must have a good level of English, both written and verbal. Basic IT skills and a high level of attention to detail is essential. You will need to be a quick learner with a good work ethic.
You will be working in a team environment putting stock away, getting stock ready for production and also packing completed orders ready for dispatch. You will use hand held order picking devices and need to have a good eye to detail to ensure you allocate stock in the right place.
All training will be provided. You be will working in a stockroom environment at room temperature and you don't need to wear any PPE so you can feel comfortable wearing your own clothes and footwear.
