Management Accountant - Nottingham - Competitive Salary
Chase and Holland are delighted to be supporting an established I.T. company based in Nottingham, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant. The business is going through a very exciting time with big growth plans. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the main areas of responsibility will be assisting in the production of Management Accounts to trial balance level and Treasury Management.
Management Accountant Responsibilities:
Production of Management Accounts by 9 working day deadline
Accurate submission to appropriate deadlines for external and internal reporting
deadlines
Improvement in finance efficiency and reporting
Monthly Accruals & Prepayments
Carriage Analysis & Accruals
Fixed Asset Management
Month End Cost review and reporting
Balance Sheet reconciliations, review and reporting
Staff Expenses Management & postings
Intrastat, EC Sales List and Overseas VAT Management & Reporting
Weekly & Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Daily posting of cashbook receipts and payments to finance system
Update cashflow and cash balances reports
Currency Management
Petty Cash Management & Journal Posting
Daily Management and Month End Reconciliation of Confidential Invoice Discounting FacilityHours:
Full-time Hybrid working, Monday to Friday two working days in the office
Required Skills & Experience
Proven and demonstrable experience in an SME environment
CIMA or ACCA Qualified or Very Experienced Part Qualified (near to Fully Qualified)
Good IT skills, especially on Excel
Competent and comfortable with using various ERP Systems.In Return You'll Receive:
