Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver

Looking for an immediate start? Our customer is one of the UK and Europe's leading courier company and is looking for a Class 1 Driver. This role is on an ongoing temporary basis with the opportunity for a permanent position depending on performance.

***Our client is willing to take applicants that are newly qualified and provide 1 week's full training they just want you to be eager to learn***

Position: Class 1 HGV Driver

Shifts: Monday - Friday

How many drops: 4 to 10 drops and collections

Start time: 06:30-07:00am

Start date: ASAP

As a Class 1 Driver you will be:

Given planned routes and loaded vehicle

Completing 4-10 drops and collections

Adhering to all H&S procedures

Communicating with the Transport Office

Familiar with automatic/manual/split shift gearboxes

The successful Class 1 Driver MUST have:

A valid UK Class 1 driving licence

A valid CPC and digital-tachograph card

No more than 3 -penalty points on their driving licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)

Over 25 years old due to the company motor insurance
