Role: Maintenance Controller
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: GBP25k-GBP30K
Hours: 7am-6pm (40hrs per week between these times)
Shift: Days
My client, a specialist Commercial Vehicle Fleet Maintainer is actively seeking to employ a Maintenance Controller at their depot in Stoke-on-Trent.
Main purpose of the Maintenance Controller role
To provide efficient and effective fleet and maintenance control on a daily basis to my client's customers
Specific Responsibilities of the Maintenance Controller
Work authorisation - Check vehicle history, agree best price policy with suppliers and agree repair timescales and ensure agreed details are confirmed by email to the supplier at all times.
VOR Reports - Contact suppliers on a daily basis chasing completion of repairs on vehicles that are currently VOR due to defect/breakdown, aiming for minimum VOR at all times whilst being cost efficient. Update the relevant VOR report to ensure all colleagues are made aware of progress. Relay the progress information to the customer at all times.
Breakdowns - Take incoming calls, load details onto the KEY2 operating system and allocate an agent to attend scene within the set KPI time of 90 minutes. Inform the customer and driver of estimated time of arrival information. Where relevant, obtain update information, update KEY2 and relay information to customer/driver at all times.
Supplier Invoice Queries - Assist in resolving invoice queries raised by the Operations Manager/Fleet Engineer by contacting the supplier and agreeing credits where relevant. All allocated Supplier Invoice Queries must be completed and handed back to accounts before every month end date.Experience required for the Maintenance Controller
3 years + experience gained in a similar role
Competent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
