Are you seeking a creative role to assist a technical team to develop artistic and visual effects?

A Creative Effect Designer is required to join a very innovative Research and Development team. This is a creative role to assist the technical development team with artistic and visual effects. Liaising with multiple departments you will be responsible for ideation, creation and prototyping of effects and managing these through to sourcing and production.
This role will span multiple mediums including, physical model making, animation, film, and artistry. A keen eye for detail will be essential in this role. These projects will all contribute to final effects rolled out to the marketplace.
This is ideal for someone with art qualifications or relevant experience, especially in model making.
The role:
Understanding of material properties and how best to use them in the right application
Ability to make decisions based on a particular project brief and be comfortable in compromising to reach specific goals
Propose and develop visual effects for inclusion in electric appliances across budget, mid and premium ranges
Create traditional, realistic, contemporary, and abstract solutions for all aspects of the product
Work with development, production, and sourcing teams to bring the products to mass production and market
Build prototypes, models, and samples for presenting to the board or for production replicationThe person:
Qualifications or experience in art, craft and model making
