GRAPE PICKERS - START DATE SEPTEMBER 2022 - 3 WEEKS TEMP WORK
Would you like to be part of the 2022 grape picking harvest team???
We are looking for reliable and committed individuals to work this years grape picking harvest at a vineyard located on the outskirts of Eastbourne, East Sussex in a gorgeous rural village.
This is perfect for anyone who loves being outside in the beautiful countryside, working in breathtaking surroundings.
The harvest will commence anytime between 19th-26th September and will offer 3 weeks full time work.(start date to be confirmed nearer the time and dependent on weather on the run up to the harvest) Hours will be Monday to Saturday 8am till 4.30-5pm (would consider individuals who would rather work Monday to Friday) GBP9.50 per hour
The Role: You will be working in teams snipping off bunches of grapes and placing these bunches into the buckets provided, no experience necessary as full training provided. Bucket runners will then empty your buckets when they start to fill up and provide you with an empty bucket. Lots of walking involved so would suit someone who is physically fit and able. This a really enjoyable role where we have people returning to do the work year upon year.
This work will continue through sunshine and rain, therefore some resilience with the unpredictable English weather is required, along with wellies/hardy footwear and a waterproof jacket. Your own transport is required due to the vineyards rural location. Minimum age of 17+
