Well-known Housebuilder looking to strengthen their technical team with the addition of an experienced Civil/Development Engineer to technically project manage multiple new-build housing sites from feasibility stage, through the construction process, to adoption. A very well-established residential construction company looking to increase production volume in the NW region at a sensible rate with an emphasis on producing quality affordable and open-market homes.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will liaise with internal departments and external consultants to oversee and produce engineering design drawings. You will appraise land opportunities alongside an experienced land and estimating team; commission topographical surveys & technical investigations; liaise with layout designers to ensure engineering constraints are designed into the layout; provide technical support and advice on demolition, remediation, drainage, services, highways and foundations; assist with negotiation of engineering planning conditions; oversee completion of technical approvals & section agreements.
Large land bank & pipeline, and experience at director level to succeed with their plans. This expansion will present a genuine opportunity for career progression as the region develops.
