Senior Fundraising Officer/ Manager (Individual Giving)
About YMCA
YMCA England and Wales exists to support, enable and represent 83 YMCAs in
England and Wales both nationally and internationally. We give local YMCAs a
national voice, by speaking with government, key policy makers and national
media. We are able to advocate for the needs of the most vulnerable young people in England & Wales.
Location: Farringdon (hybrid working - 1day/week office attendance)
Salary: GBP37,931.31 + benefits
On Behalf of YMCA, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic, experienced individuals for the role of Senior Fundraising Officer based in London.
The Senior Fundraising Officer (Individual Giving) will play an integral role in growing restricted and unrestricted income streams.
Essential Requirements for a successful Senior Fundraising Officer:
* Proven direct marketing project management experience
* Knowledge of Direct Marketing techniques
* Experience of managing and delivering a fundraising campaign
* Experience of delivering engaging content centred on donor engagement
* Experience of managing and negotiating with suppliers to deliver campaigns
* Experience of reporting on campaign results effectively and producing post campaign reports
* An understanding of data manipulation, data management and data selection to underpin financial decisions
The role of Senior Fundraising Officer:
* This role sits in the Retention & Partnership Team within Individual Giving
* Responsible for retaining regular giving and cash donors by developing the supporter journey for cash and regular giving donors
* Implement processes to collate supporter data
* Develop new fundraising initiatives, including working with creative
* agencies to produce engaging campaign materials
* Develop and implement a mid-level strategy to grow the donor pool and
* subsequently, income
* End to end campaign management of fundraising campaigns, completed
* within agreed timelines and budget
