Project and Commercial Controller
Our Spalding based client has a vacancy for a Project and Commercial Controller.
You will spend most of your time dedicated to Commercial administration and non-technical project coordination. You will provide day to day support to the Delivery Manager and programme management team, their activities and project co-ordination, including both financial & general tasks. You will lead on ensuring the preparation of payments for Direct & Build Partner stakeholders. Ensuring jobs packs have the correct commercials and management of Cost Variations will be an integral part of the role. As a key player within the regional operation, working closely with stakeholders such as Finance & operations will mean that being flexible in your approach and time management will be vital.
Experience Required
Essential
•3 years + experience of project administration
•Strong organisational skills
•Ability to create, maintain and develop effective working relationships with partners, as well as with colleagues within the organisation
•A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively for the mutual benefit of the team
•Ability to multitask
•Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail and ensuring high levels of quality
•Strong communication skills and ability to use MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Good knowledge and experience of administrative payment processes, in particular the processing of Subcontractor Payments
•Experience working with Telco Build Synthetics including ability to break down job packs and calculate commercial units
•Experience handling DFE's (Deviation from Estimate) across a range of Partners and Builds

•Familiarity with Office 365 and SharePoint
•Experience of working on large scale Telecoms projects
•Document management experience
