Fawkes & Reece are working alongside a leading 5* national house builder with requirements for an experienced Planner in Peterborough.
With a national developing portfolio and an esteemed reputation Our client is a top 10 house builder. They have been established for over 60 years and are known for their quality driven ethos and bringing exceptional homes to the market.
As a Planner you will join the established Land Team and be responsible for the over site and management of planning applications. Reporting to Planning, Design and Technical managers.
Responsibilities;
Collate information packs from technical design and commercial departments to produce accurate planning applications
Manage and report the progress of planning application submissions through to approval
Support and manage external consultants, collating and presenting their information and monitoring application progress
Liaise directly with planning authorities and stake holders
Act diligently and in line with company procedure, best practice and interests
Support the Land Team in the production of accurate Land packs
Maintain and build the teams key contact base for land owners, agents and contactsSkills and experience
Strict organisation
Adaptability
Previous experience in a planning role for a house builder is a must
Knowledge of Housing developing procedures and land procurement
Excellent written and verbal communication
IT competency
Full UK Driving LicenseWhat you get in return
