Established Large bakery with deep roots in Artisan Chilled and Frozen breads for the UK & European markets is looking to recruit a Hygiene Supervisor.

Monday - Friday role
THE HYGIENE SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Multi Skilled Engineer will regularly maintain all equipment on site and respond promptly to breakdowns to ensure a safe working environment and full production capacity at all times whilst complying with Company policy and procedures. Key aspects of the role will include:
To establish the cause of electrical and mechanical breakdowns and to identify and implement the best solution.
Diagnose any electrical or mechanical faults in equipment and carry out any necessary day to day repairs.
Routine maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
To support the introduction of new equipment and machinery.
Participate in Bakery team training and briefing.
Effectively communicate with contractors and other external parties.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Robust skillset with an established background in the food industry with experience in the hygiene environment preferred.
You will need to have similar experience leading or supervising a team within the food industry.
Working knowledge of Food and Hygiene polices.
Able to take on a degree of responsibility within the business, frequently operating as one of the senior members of staff on site.
Able to demonstrate good working communication and organisation skills.
Ability to work efficiently both within a team and independently.
