We are currently looking for numerous skilled, Welder Fabricators, to join us on a permanent basis for late shifts across our Alton & Hook locations, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday's off every week

Welder / Fabricator
Reports to:
This position reports to the Production Manager who in line reports to the Operations Director
Main Purpose of the Role
To fabricate components to a drawing to an exemplary standard
Roles and Responsibilities
Fabricators need to be able to read and understand drawing packs
Work alongside the design team and provide feedback where required.
Examine detailed drawings or specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
Cut and weld metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment.
Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding.
Finish products by cleaning and ready to be painted.
Operate a forklift truck & overhead crane
Housekeeping within the immediate working area
Ability to take ownership of your work
Able to commit to the late shift, 4pm - 2am, Monday to Thursday ( 40 hours )
Planned overtime at time and a half
Basic Skills Required
Teamwork
Good Planning and organisational skills
Positive Attitude
Key Personality Traits Required
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Good, clear communication skills.
Have a can do, problem solving attitude and ability to work fast paced in a high-pressure environment.
Be positive and perform at your highest level.
