LWC Drinks Ltd, the largest independent drinks wholesaler is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of supply chain planners at our Hub Depot based in Manchester. As the UK’s fastest-growing and largest independent drinks wholesaler, LWC is an exciting place to work. Our aim is to provide the best customer service in the industry, as well as an impressive and extensive portfolio of products. Currently, LWC Drinks employ over 1000 people, with 14 depots across the UK as well as a Support Centre, based in Manchester.
The successful candidate will have to follow up with suppliers on purchasing orders and make sure the process is being ran smoothly. You will have to upload depot orders and monitor issues throughout your area. You will need to liase with our goods in department on deliveries that are incoming from our suppliers. This role also requires you to monitor supply routes with our purchasing team. This role will also require you to: chase suppliers for overdue items, resolve issues where stock does not arrive exactly as it should and ensure that the supply chain department always has a cover when needed.
Key Skills
• Some experience in supply chain preferred but not essential
• IT Literate
• Ability to multitask and work with an array of stakeholders
• Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team
• Bright, energetic, and enthusiastic with attention to details
