We're looking for a talented CNC - Vertical Machining Centre / Horizontal Machining Centre - Programmer / Setter /Operator to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of working with machining of exotic metals (super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, hastelloy, monel etc.).

The Role:
As the CNC - Vertical Machining Centre / Horizontal Machining Centre Programmer / Setter /Operator you will be primarily responsible for operating a CNC machine and ensuring high quality and on time work is delivered.
In the job, you'll be tasked with the following:
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Fully programming, setting and operating vertical machining centres using Fanuc controls
- Operating Doosan vertical machining centres (Apply online only)mm beds)
- Operating kafo h630 (twin pallet horizontal machining centre) Fanuc control
The standard working hours for this position are Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 16.30 & Fri 7.30 - 12.30.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this CNC - Vertical Machining Centre / Horizontal Machining Centre Programmer / Setter /Operator role will have relevant experience of working with machining of exotic metals (super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, hastelloy, monel etc.).
You'll also need experience of:
- A previous or similar position (2 years minimum)
- A time served role (NVQ 3 or equivalent)
- Manual guide programming
- Doosan vertical machining centres (Apply online only)mm beds)
- Kafo h630 (twin pallet horizontal machining centre) Fanuc control
- One CNC programming software
- 4th axis programming / machining
- Valve and pump components
- Oil, gas, fluid and power generation industry sectors
- Office 365 / ERP systems
In addition, you'll need the following:
- The ability to fully program, set and operate vertical machining centres using Fanuc controls
- Good planning and organising skills
- Good communication skills with both peers and management
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems

The Package:
Basic salary: GBP14.00 - GBP15.50 per hour
Overtime: You'll also have the opportunity to earn overtime in this role
