Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Worcester
Start: September
Rate: GBP120 - GBP180
A vibrant Worcester based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified Geography teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS3 & KS4 students. A school that embraces the transformative power of education and values a love of learning and intellectual curiosity.
The school is looking for a Geography teacher who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills. Day to day cover is needed as well as long term cover which will include planning and conducting assessments, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Science teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with students.
The ideal Geography teacher should have the following:
A QTS with a minimum of 6 months' experience in a secondary school
Experience working with KS3/Key Stage 3 and KS4/Key Stage 4
Create engaging and innovative lesson plans
A calm and caring persona
