About the role :-
The Environmental Manager is responsible for assisting the Quality, Health & Safety & Environment Director in ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation, environmental permitting regulations & ISO14001 accreditation while also receiving, recording & dealing with third party environment-related communications with regulators. The successful candidate will liaise with employees of all levels across the business on environmental matters to ensure a consistent approach & understanding of all policies & procedures.
The successful candidate will...
Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Ideally have a degree or equivalent qualification in a Science or Environmental related subject and/or equivalent experience
Be Internal auditor trained for ISO 14001
