Materials Handler
Our client is a dynamic & innovative, national construction group constructed of 14+ divisions across civils, build and the built environment allowing them to offer a full turnkey service under one roof and are ever expanding.
We are looking for a materials handler to their Peterborough Yard. This fast-paced role will require you to have experience within a similar role and great attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Taking in and sending out material deliveries to and from sites.
Putting items in and out of stock
Keeping the deliveries organised and well maintained
Loading and unloading of trailers
Creating and maintaining accurate stock lists
Liaise with buyers
Maintenance of paperwork
Skills and Qualities:
The ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience within a similar role such as builders' merchant.
General knowledge surrounding products that will be maintained such as: Drainage, Landscaping, Bricks.
Hold a full UK Driving Licence
Forklift licence
Ability to work alone and manage own workload.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Packages
Relationship building with site managers, buyers, and suppliers.

This is a permanent role, working hours Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm with a one-hour break.
