Support Manager, IT Manager, Oxford, Remote working
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Support Manager to join my client, a leading scientific R&D organisation, based-in Oxford. The successful Support Manager will join the business in-order to provide leadership and mentorship to a highly technical team of both in-house support professionals, as well as some based overseas. You will also be required to provide first class support to a desperate support function, provide your expertise in third party support and supplier management activities, and bring a high standard of relationship and stakeholder management skills. The Support Manager will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, in-line with the wider company policy.

A solid technical background - Windows servers, Office 365, Active Directory, networking
Previous experience being responsible for IT services
Line management experience
Understanding of IT processes (ITIL)
Previous experience setting up IT policies and strategies as well as creating training documentation
