Senior Consultant (Business & Performance Analysis)

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Consultant (Business & Performance Analysis) at our site in Farnborough/Preston.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead customer-facing teams (for example, Ministry of Defence, Front Line Commands, Department for Transport, Home Office) and apply a range of analytical techniques to structure their problems, identify insights and develop solutions that make a real difference to their business

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Leading projects across our client base
Applying consultancy skills and toolsets to understand their strategic and operational objectives, identify analysis
requirements, and develop sustainable solutions to support their decision-making
Engaging and building relationships with stakeholders and customers across BAE Systems and UK Government

Your skills and qualifications:

Experience of leading analysis and or consultancy projects
A track record of applying capabilities to complex problems, process and systems
Previous modelling experience; operational research (e.g. simulation modelling, value stream mapping); cost modelling; soft analysis
Previous method experience such as problem structuring, KPI identification and definition
Experience of working in the defence sector and an understanding of UK government / MOD best practice or processes
Experience with Aqua book, Green book, JSP507, JSP655, QDC etc are desirable, but by no means essential

What we are looking for in you:

You must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ambition to drive to make a real impact for your customers. You should also have the ability to coach and mentor more junior members of the team within this position.

Location: Farnborough or Preston, but we operate a flexible working policy where home working is available
