Role Profile:
Install traffic signals, including the installation and wiring of controllers, ancillary equipment and highways systems
Typical Deliverables:
Carry out installation of Traffic and associated signal equipment
Carry out testing of signal equipment
Install cables and joints
Wire cables at top caps and controllers to an agreed specification
Carry out on site risk assessments and follow method statements
Attend Team brief / Toolbox talks as required
Ensure test equipment, PPE and Vehicle are all compliant with up to date certification as requiredBusiness Operations Skills - Experience:
Has full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures (or deep skills in a single area) through job-related training and considerable work experience
Completes a variety of atypical assignments
Works within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignmentsBusiness Operations Skills - Qualifications:
Fully accredited sector 8
Full Driving Licence
Previous experience in a similar roleBehavioural Requirements:
Ability to work in a team and on their own
Positive and flexible attitude
Good communication skills with customers and colleagues
Hands on approach
