Our client is a world leader in solvent distribution looking to add a Senior Quality Coordinator to their Scunthorpe site. As Quality Coordinator you will assist and be responsible for all areas of compliance in regard to BRC and HACCP guidelines; leading the quality program within the depot; assisting with lab testing and customer audits.
The role will be a hands on role and will ensure safe and efficient practices at all times in regard to compliance and quality standards. The role will focus on reporting on all practices and ensuring food safety, legality and quality procedures. You will work with the laboratory team to support on conducting accurate and compliant testing for customers; ensuring samples are stored and maintained and producing all relevant reports. There will also be some auditing both internally and of clients.
Ideally the right candidate will have previous experience in a quality focused role and have spent time working within a lab with a keen eye for detail and following process within the safe and legal guidelines. The right candidate will have knowledge of HACCP and/or BRC either through qualification or through on the job experience. The person needs to be highly organised; a good communicator and have excellent administrative skills.
