We are looking to recruit a transport assistant, the role will be to provide holiday and sickness cover to our current Transport manager. Its a demanding role and duties will include despatching orders, organising the picking of orders, planning routes for 5 multi drop delivery vehicles, tracking the daily deliveries, transport legislation and downloads, driver hours and everything else transport related. There will also be some goods inward and housekeeping duties. You will be enthusiastic and keen to deliver excellence in service as you learn the job and develop.
