Ayrshire College are currently looking to recruit industry professionals to our Lecturer, Pre-approved Register, specialising in Health & Social Care.

 

You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources. So if you think you can use your extensive knowledge and experience of the early education sector to inspire and support others to achieve their qualifications and career goals, then this could be the role for you!

 

You will be qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Health & Social Care or a related subject area, with Health & Social Care sector experience. Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is desirable. A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you have teaching experience within a College environment and that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification.
