Hyde is looking to recruit a Lead IT Business Analyst.

The Lead IT Business Analyst will play an important role in the delivery of IT change for Hyde. the IT project portfolio is varied, encompassing cloud-based solution implementations for different departments, IT infrastructure and application upgrades and migrations.

The Lead IT Business Analyst will work with stakeholders throughout Hyde to understand and analyse requirements, develop business cases and design solutions. They will communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the process and technical changes. They will also set standards for business analysis and documentation and promote best practice across the wider IT team.

The Senior / Lead IT Business Analyst will need:

  • Deep experience of business analysis in a complex technology environment working across the full project lifecycle from business case development, requirements analysis to transitioning solutions into a live environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral English), including the ability to translate technical matters to non-technical colleagues.
  • A desire to work collaboratively in a team, drawing on the expertise of colleagues to ensure that the requirements of the organisation are met.
  • A positive, ‘can-do’, and flexible attitude.

Duties:

  • Preparing business requirements, documenting 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes and delivering process flows.
  • Assisting in the development and / or implementation of Target Operating Models.
  • Translate the business problem and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for the solution that align to best practice methodology, with the appropriate use of epics, features, user stories and defined acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment across business and technical stakeholders. Ensure issues and risks raised are resolved in an appropriate manner.
  • Communicate effectively across both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned.
  • Understand business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service.
  • Selecting the appropriate best practice techniques to model business processes, existing and new, in order to achieve consensus.
  • As part of the modelling process, work to identify potential process improvements, considering risks, issues and benefits.
  • Support in the production of business cases, this includes market analysis from a technical and non-technical point of view.

Candidates will need to demonstrate prove experience at a similar level by leading on multiple projects and/or managing a small team.
