Location: Kildare

The Role

The Facilities Manager will be directly responsible for working with a team to deliver challenging construction and facilities projects. Your continuous development of skills and adoption of new technologies is key to the impact you will have in this role. You will interact with clients and vendors to negotiate contracts, manage project related documentation, track vendor RFPs, conduct weekly meetings and develop scope and schedule of assigned projects. Your knowledge of construction and/or architectural industry will speak to your ability to support your team in delivering interesting and industry changing projects.

You are focused on creating an energized and collaborative environment. Your primary focus will be project delivery and driving client satisfaction through team work and relationship development. You are proactive and forward thinking, seeking to understand the needs perspectives and motivations of clients. You will deliver consistent, timely, high quality work meeting project requirements in a cost-effective way. You will also be able to manage minor renovation projects and assist in managing projects of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

Managing and Maintaining Buildings services and grounds.
Project management of service provision.
Development of project time plans and costs.
Organizing and developing detail quotations for cleaning and waste management.
Operational leadership of service on the ground.
Reporting on operational target and events.
Manage relationship with Client
Vending Services
Cleaning Services
Manage all client service and works
Health and safety
Space management
EHS Compliance
Arranging for all important inspections, approvals and licenses
Maintain safety and security; monitor access; maintain appearance and overall environment of the organization and wellness facilities.
Developing and administering the policies of the facility.
Preparing, maintaining and submitting the reports and records to the Client and IFM team
Take part in reviewing, interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervisor, and assessing of new staff.
On call for the site when required.
Manage projects for the site when required
Innovation on current scope pertaining to key client requestsQualifications & Skills

Degree in engineering qualification, Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in in manageing facilities in a construction environment for manufacturing
Proven track record of results.
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as will a high level of flexibility with a high-level commitment to success.
Strong experience with hard services
Passionate about delivery and customer service
Financial acumen with demonstrated competence in managing budgets.
A strong leader with a skill for engaging others
