Job Title: Parts Driver Warehouse Operator
Parts Location: Lincoln
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Hours: 39 Hours per Week, 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3:30pm Friday.
Summary: Parts Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operator for our Lincoln Parts Department.

Our client is a franchised main commercial vehicle dealer for Iveco, MAN, Fiat Professional and Maxus with a history of over 50 years and operating across 7 dealerships in the North and North East of England.
They are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and committed candidate to join the team in Lincoln in the role of Parts Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operator. The role is a full-time position based out of the Lincoln dealership, reporting directly to the Parts Supervisor.
Some of the main duties for the role will include (but not limited to):
Organising parts deliveries to customers in a prompt, efficient and professional manner in line with customer expectations.
Maintenance of delivery records, vehicle movement sheets and other records as required.
Ensuring continuing good customer relations by being professional, courteous, and helpful at all times and reporting back to management any issues advised of by customers or identified when doing the rounds.
Generation of additional sales at the point of delivery, using marketing and promotional information as provided by the Parts Supervisor, and reporting back to the Parts Supervisor any identified customer needs.
Provision of marketing intelligence to the Parts Supervisor regarding competitor activity and potential business opportunities.
Ensuring secure collection of payment for all cash on delivery invoices at the point of delivery and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of funds received.
Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse including putting away stock orders and ensuring stores are organised correctly.
Relocation of stock as required either within the warehouse, or to get ready for transfer to other dealerships in the Group.
Packaging up of items including correctly labelling them ready for delivery.
Review goods receipts to ensure quality and that items are free of defect or damage and notifying the Parts Supervisor of any issues identified.
Returning incorrectly ordered parts to suppliers to enable credits to be generated.
Packaging and labelling up of old units and warranty returns for return to the manufacturer.
Always ensuring to drive the Company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner with due consideration for other road users and in full compliance with the law and Company procedures.
The successful applicant must have a full clean driving licence. Experience in a similar role is preferred but all backgrounds will be considered.
