Architectural Technician/ Technologist
Bennett and Game have the pleasure of representing a forward thinking Architectural Practice in Milton Keynes, who have recently started searching for creative, enthusiastic candidate to join their ever-growing team. The reason for their spike in interest of recruitment is due to the shifts within the team, where the Directors are now extremely motivated to grow the practice and take it to the next level. Our client have been established for 6 years and already have huge aspirations in terms of what direction they're to be heading in, specifically with rapid growth in their turnover target for the future.
Our client have high expectations of their new recruits, therefore a successful Architectural Technician / Technologist is most likely to display eagerness and enthusiasm for the new opportunity; interest in the practice and their ethos including the type of projects they'd be working on; a willingness to learn and take on information when needed. Day to day as an employee of this practice, you are most likely to be working on larger scale projects within Residential, Hospitality, Mixed-Use and Student Accommodaton. Being a specialist in the Residential sector they work in all types of multi-unit residential developments, bespoke homes, private apartments, student accommodation, high end living, built to rent developments and affordable housing.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist with a minimum of 1 years' practical experience to join an ambitious, rapidly developing practice around Milton Keynes. They have a strong ethos and are passionate for creating exciting design solutions for their many clients spread across the UK.
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview
Work on a range of large-scale projects within Residential, Hospitality and Mixed-use sectors
Liaise with clients
Maintain and form good relationships with colleagues and clients
Execute technical and detailing skills to a high standard using Revit/ AutoCAD
Use Revit and AutoCAD on a daily basis
Working on projects from inception to completion but to also be able to work within a specific RIBA stage (0-7)
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements
Living in or around the Milton Keynes area
Proficiency of ideally Revit however AutoCAD could be considered
Experience with large scale projects such as high rise buildings (essential)
Experience in the residential/ hospitality (preferable)
Minimum 1 years practical experience (essential)
Excellent creativity and technical capabilities
Strong ability to work well in a team, as well as
Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration
Competitive Salary (GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 DOE)
25 days holiday
Flexible working hours (as long as 8 hour core day is complete)
