Red is recruiting an Engineering Supervisor to work for a fast-growing manufacturing company in Yatton. Package and Benefits of an Engineering Supervisor:
Salary: GBP33,000
Location: North Somerset
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities of an Engineering Supervisor:
Monitoring Heidenhaim, Siemens and Fanuc systems and processes to product quality machined parts
Assist in the improvement of process from goods in through to dispatch
Working to set procedures and tolerances
Studying work orders, drawings, and machine planning (training given)
Ensuring compliancy with Contractor Control procedures and maintaining/ implementing Health and Safety standards for staff under your control
Overseeing operations and ensuring the accuracy of the parts produced
Monitoring first off checks and prototype prove out processes
Providing and implementing ideas for continuous improvement and innovative solutions
Continually developing operational processes to maximise efficiency and quality standards
Ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained throughout the department
Striving to understand the company's policies and vision and how your department contributes to these
Skills and Experience of an Engineering Department Supervisor:
Engineering experience and knowledge of CNC machinery
G code knowledge, miling and lathe will be advantageous
Understanding of Heidenhaim, Siemens and Fanuc systems
Excellent leadership skills and organisational skills
