FLT INSTRUCTOR / AVONMOUTH - PERMANENT ROLE
Location: Avonmouth, BS11
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm (flexibility required)
Annual Salary: GBP28,284 (plus current enhancement of GBP2ph)
Role Type: Permanent
gap personnel acting as an employment agency are currently recruiting for 1x In-house FLT Instructor for national supplier of kitchen equipment.
Job Responsibilities as In-house FLT Instructor:
* Planning and training on Counterbalance, VNA & PPT.
* Ensuring refreshment training is planned and completed within specified time frames
* Conduct audits and act on outcomes to ensure colleagues are adhering to required standards
* Conducting re-training / bespoke training following near miss / or accidents where applicable
* Ensuring the correct skill and knowledge levels are maintained following updates in Nisbets ways of working / results from health and safety audits or legislation
* Ensuring all training remains compliant and in line with legislation and records are fully maintained for each colleague
* Assist with H&S improvement activities and the promotion of a positive safety culture within the warehouses
* Conduct / or assist with accident investigations and reporting
* Liaising with specialist contractors for equipment issues / inspections and or servicing
* Help to build skill matrix for all warehouse colleagues across all sites
About you:
* Fully qualified in Counterbalance and VNA (ie RTITB qualified)
* Fully qualified Instructor
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail, methodical, process driven and pro-active
* Drive for continuous improvement
* Experience in coaching and development
* Presentation skills
* Good standard of Microsoft Word, Excel packages
