Crisis Support Worker
Immediately Required
Salary: GBP(phone number removed) per annum
Location: Glastonbury and Frome
Length of Contract: Permanent
Shifts: The service opens 7 nights per week (5.30 - 11:00pm) in 3 locations in Mendip
Our client, a well-respected Mental Health Charity in Bristol is recruiting for Support Workers for their Crisis team in Somerset. This is an evening service so you would have to be happy working 5.30-11pm on a rota. Various hours available!
Day to day duties:
* Providing emotional and practical support to those with complex needs and mental health issue in the community
* Carrying out detailed risk assessments and comprehensive support plans
* Assisting clients with budgeting and financial issues
* Helping with tenancy queries and accessing benefits where needed
* Supporting the through education, health and wellbeing
* Signposting clients through 3rd party agencies
Essential skills:
* An understanding of complex needs/mental health/tenancy related support
* Must have a DBS within the last 12 months
* Experience working in a similar role in the community
