Skilled Operative /Despatch Operative/
Based in Boston
Shift available: days, continental shift A, 6am - 6pm
Rate: GBP10.75/hr - GBP13.44/hr (OT rate)
Paid Weekly (Thursday)

Package DescriptionYou may not have heard of us, but we're sure you've tried our products because we supply food for the all the major supermarkets in the UK.
Here in Boston we employ around 800 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Costco, Spar, Itsu and BOL.
Main ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity for a despatch operative to join our team based at Boston site. The Despatch team will process finished Greencore-Food to Go products from the production through to the point of despatch to our customers. Working in a small team you will be picking the correct products for our customer orders and ensuring they are loaded onto vehicles for delivery.
Unloading and loading trailers
Moving palletised goods
Putting orders together for the delivery to our customers, you will be part of a warehouse team driven to deliver excellent customer service.This role would be ideal for Warehouse Operatives looking to develop their career with a growing business - working with some of the UKs' biggest brands.
The Ideal Candidate
Good level of English & Math - you will be counting picks and products, alongside managing remaining stock.
Ability to work under pressure in a cold store environment - you will be picking orders for some of the UK's well-known retailers, ensuring that the correct order goes out on time in full.
Attention to detail.
Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
Right first-time approach.
Excellent communication skills - you will be working as part of a team, so the ability to get along as part of a group is key.
Existing Reach Truck and/or Forklift license will be an advantage.
