Estimator - Full Time, Permanent
Job description
The main purpose of this role is to compose, submit and secure tenders for our existing and expanding client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Pricing tenders from start to contract award stage
* Producing detailed take offs from tender documents
* Assessing specifications and explore alternatives if requested
* Liaise with suppliers and negotiate where needed
* Maintain existing client and supplier relationships
* Following up submitted tenders for updates
* Pricing variations where required
* Handing over projects to contracts managers once secured
* Previous experience in Roofing and Cladding preferred but not essential
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate
* Previous experience submitting tenders to Main Contractors
* Sound numeracy skills
* Good spoken, written, and oral communication
