Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Exeter
Salary Scale: GBP75- GBP90
Start Date: ASAP / September 2022
GSL Education Plymouth is seeking an HLTA for a mixed-based school.

The School:
This is a mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 comprehensive school with outstanding reputation, inspected by OFSTED. The campus is equipped with amazing architecture and modern classroom facilities. The school offers plenty of career development opportunities to new Teachers such as dedicated one hour CPL session each week. It has a very collegial environment and is filled with extremely well led educators. The management is incredibly understanding and supportive when it comes to solving a personal crisis of the teachers.
As an HLTA, you will possess the following:
Experience of dealing with Secondary School pupils
An ideal Level 4 Teaching & Learning Qualification, or educated to Degree Level
Experience of planning and delivering intervention and booster sessions
A good understanding of National Curriculum
Ability to support and encourage pupils to become independent learners
Liaise with Teachers, Support Staff and parents effectively
You are required to have the following:
The Right to Work in the UK
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
Two professional child related references
