S&L Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Dispatch Operative for our client based in Leicester.
Pay rate: GBP11.00 per hour
Hours of Work:
10am to 3pm Monday to Friday (Hours are flexible) 22.5 hour per week.
About the Role:
The day to day to day task of a Warehouse Dispatch operative will involve, unloading and taking delivery of goods and supplies, Picking stock from our stock room and ensuring all parcels are packed meticulously & processed ready for dispatch the same day.
A Full UK driving License is required.
Duties of a Warehouse Dispatch Operative are as follows:
To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damage.
Load/ unload vehicles by hand.
Physically move stock from goods in area to the warehouse and pack away stock onto shelves.
Pick/ Pack & dispatch daily orders accurately and to a high standard
Update relevant details into ERP system
Chase up any missing parcels.
Potentially drive van for collections/ Delivery
Labelling and Packaging in house products
Stock take at regular intervals.
Maintain department tidiness at all times.
Qualities required from a Warehouse Dispatch Operative:
Minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a warehouse dispatch role packing fragile & delicate parts with care and attention.
Advantageous if you experience with DPD and FEDEX's systems and also experience of an ERP & CRM systems. ( Client uses Sage & Zoho)
Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel would be ideal.
Reliability, Honesty and great timekeeping is essential for this role.
This role is a Part-Time position on a Temp to Perm basis which may lead to a full time position for the right candidate.
