NeuroSupport services is looking for psychology graduates or candidates with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life. We are looking for a Therapy assistant who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community.
Our client is is physically capable of most activities and is missing engaging in sports. We are looking for someone proactive to support OS to develop a routine of meaningful activity alongside the MDT. If the support worker had an interest in sports that would be good.
Hour available: 25 hours a week
5 hours per day - Flexible timings
There will be plenty more opportunities for more hours for the suitable candidate.
Successful Candidates will:
* Have access to full Training including Brain Injury Awareness Training
* CPD opportunities
* Full Enhanced DBS and Insurance
* Competitive Hourly Rate
* Partial Mileage and Travel time covered
* Gain Experience working with an MDT
Successful candidates will be willing to help people adapt to their limitations, but also strive to reach their goals. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to implement behavioural, psychological, and cognitive strategies, as well as support with daily living activities. Therapy Assistants should be confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.
Successful candidates must be:
* Reliable
* Adaptable
* Resilient
* Excellent Communication skills
* Experience in the field of Psychology
* Willing to become self-employed
