IT Service Delivery Manager / Problem Manager
Swindon / work from home - GBP45,000-GBP50,000 + 10% bonus
An exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager / Problem Manager to join a growing FinTech in Swindon, and help to formalise and build out a high-performing Problem Management function.
The role will form part of a larger team who deliver a first-class, seamless IT service operation support function for a range of financial clients. The team use system monitoring and the latest tools and techniques to ensure availability of service within SLA timeframes.
You will have 6 direct reports from day one, with plans to quickly grow the team. You will be given the opportunity to help shape the team and its offering, helping to put in processes and a structure to offer real consistency of service.
It will require someone with a good technical understanding, and although not required to be hands-on, the option will be there.
Relevant skills / experience will include:
* Experience leading and building a support / service delivery / problem management team
* A good technical understanding - SQL, Unix, and the ability to read software code
* Client relationship management
* Experience defining and designing complex technical solutions
The office is based in Swindon, an easy walk from both the train and bus stations. It will be a hybrid role, with 1 / 2 days a week work from home
