GBP30,000 ** Options to be hybrid ** Leatherhead offices ** 25 days holiday **
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic community fundraiser to join our client's passionate team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic fundraiser, someone with an existing experience, a sales background or someone new to the sector. You will be a natural and enthusiastic team player, with the ability to work within a high performing and successful team.
Job Description:
* Plan, coordinate and help deliver volunteer led events and community fundraising activities across the UK
* Encourage, support and generate fundraising income by engaging with and inspiring community groups to participate in national fundraising activities or run fundraising events
* Support and cultivate existing and new volunteers, individual supporters, partnerships, and events
* Attend networking events and give talks and presentations
* Identify, support and develop new volunteers offering training as appropriate
* Establish and manage new local volunteer groups.
* Maintain accurate records and to use this for regular insight, analysis and reporting.
* Continue to develop high quality processes and procedures for the retention of volunteers
* Identify opportunities to recruit fundraising volunteers through digital and social media
Person Specification:
* High level literacy and numeracy skills
* Excellent people skills: public speaking, presenting, empathy and confident telephone manner
* High level of attention to detail
* Ability to monitor budgets and keep accurate financial records
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Word and Excel
* Organised and methodical - a 'doer', completer and finisher
* Team player who is able to work on own initiative
* Flexible with a can-do attitude
* Full driving licence (UK-wide travel will be required)
Additional Information:
* Based in Leatherhead (hybrid wfh considered)
* GBP30,000
* Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm plus weekends and overnight stays (time in lieu given)
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases with service)
* Pension scheme
* Death in service
