Job Summary:

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator/Executive Assistant to join our Team based at The Officer’s Mess in Duxford, providing support to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team. This is a secure role in a supportive and friendly office within a dynamic, leading organisation. Candidates with experience of working within a GP practice setting are particularly welcome to apply, but we will consider all transferable skills. This role is not patient or public facing.

 

Responsibilities:

This role will provide administrative support to the CEO and wider Executive Team to enable the smooth running of the organisation including:

  • executive assistant to the CEO and executive team
  • signposting GP and practice queries and advice
  • ensuring timely follow-up to queries ensuring the views of the LMC Ltd are represented appropriately to constituents and external stakeholders maintaining confidentiality, Caldicott principles, and good GDPR practice
  • managing and ensuring a timely response to all correspondence received by the LMC office
  • managing bookings and appointments internally and externally in the office calendar
  • being the primary contact on site for third parties, and welcoming external guests
  • maintaining an up to date database for contacts and constituents and supporting elections
  • ensuring office folders and data is well-organised and up to date
  • liaising with third parties around event planning and management for the LMC
  • maintaining the LMC Jobs site and circulating urgent Locum opportunities
  • supporting the CEO’s needs in an executive assistant role

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade A- C (or equivalent)

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in office administration and confident in the use of Microsoft 365 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to build relationships and work well with a diverse range of professionals A proven ability to deal effectively with difficult and contentious situations whilst maintaining positive working relationships Able to problem solve and respond to sudden demands Excellent organisational skills 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of General Practice Able to work autonomously Self-motivated and able to organise own workload with minimal supervision
